Prime Talent Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity we’re recruiting for an experienced Registered Care Home Manager to join a 26 bed residential care home.

Whilst working closely with their small team of directors, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the care home. Your key responsibilities will centre around the management of your staff team and the effective delivery and recording of care to our residents. You will need to have experience working in a management capacity within an elderly care home, relevant management qualifications and a passion for delivering outstanding care.

  • To manage the service in line with vision and values whilst ensuring compliance

  • Maintain a high-quality service working in partnership with directors, colleagues, health care professionals, local authority teams and external regulatory bodies to manage and support all

    services.

  • To support residents to ensure their own unique physical, social and emotional needs are

    met.

  • To create and develop positive relationships with families and other professionals

  • Manage all aspects of the staff team and provide sound leadership to ensure staff are clear about their respective duties and responsibilities and have support they need to carry out their roles safely.

  • Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the business

  • To contribute to the development of new policies and practices within the home and to maintain systems work within and maintain the quality management system for the organisation and to adhere to the CQC standards and regulations

  • Cover on-call duties on a rota basis

Experiences and Skills required:

  • Have a passion for elderly care.

  • Achieved NVQ Level 4 Health & Social care and be working towards level 5 or be willing to undertake this qualification.

  • Excellent communicative skills

  • Previous experience working in a residential/supported living setting including supervisory responsibilities.

  • Be prepared to work flexibly to ensure the safe delivery of the service

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
