Prime Talent Recruitment is looking for an experienced Domiciliary Care Coordinator to join our Client in the London Borough of Barnet.
As a Care Coordinator you will support the Management Team to deliver a quality care service and manage the day-to-day operations of the service. You will be specifically responsible for the carers, managing the weekly and daily roster and using the system to allocate and match the carers to care plans and client visits. This role will give you a great opportunity to grow and take on extra responsibilities.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate dignity and respect along with empathy and an understanding of what the clients and carers need.
Key responsibilities include:
Allocating hours/managing staff rotas
Communicating with the care team to ensure all client calls are covered.
Liaising with clients and family members to match carers to new packages.
Maintain clear, accurate and up to date records for all clients and carers.
Contribute to the growth of the branch. - Assist with inducting and supervising carers.
Work with the training team to ensure carers training is up to date.
To maintain skills and undertake training and development as may be required to maintain practices.
Organize and plan supervision and appraisals for care staff.
Key Skills
Excellent knowledge of CQC compliance
Leadership Skills
Good organizational and people skills
Strong eye for detail
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to work under pressure.
Able to think fast and make quick decisions.
Experience of coordinating, working in a similar environment or supervisory role.
Ideally you will have a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care however, this is not essential.
